Knife Care Guide
A great knife deserves great care. Follow these steps to keep your blade performing for years:
1. Hand Wash Only
Rinse with warm water and mild soap immediately after use. Dry thoroughly with a soft cloth. Never put your knife in the dishwasher.
2. Use a Wooden or Plastic Board
Glass, granite, or ceramic boards will dull your edge. Always cut on wood or high-quality plastic.
3. Store Safely
Use a magnetic strip, knife block, or blade guard to protect both the edge and your fingers.
4. Hone Regularly, Sharpen Occasionally
Keep the edge aligned with a honing rod before or after each use. When the knife starts to drag, sharpen with a whetstone or have it professionally sharpened.
5. Respect the Blade
Your knife is made for precision cutting — not prying, crushing bones, or opening cans. Treat it as the tool it is, and it will reward you for years.
Results such as knife sharpness, durability and performance may vary depending on use and care.
